Domain jinr.int

We would like to inform you about the introduction of an additional hostname domain jinr.int in test mode from March 2022.

At present, the following features have been implemented:

1) E-mail domain @jinr.int is fully equivalent to the domain @jinr.ru. Thus, e-mail messages sent to @jinr.int addresses will go to your mailboxes of @jinr.ru domain.
2) In order to send messages from @jinr.int domain addresses - it is necessary to adjust the corresponding sender address in the mail client. For example, for webmail.jinr.ru see https://noc.jinr.ru/ru/info/webm-jinr-int.php

3) Some sites are also available in the @jinr.int domain. Thus, www.jinr.int = www.jinr.ru.

Q: Why do I need an additional domain jinr.int?
A: This domain is intended for international organizations, see https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/.int . It has a higher status, and if .ru domains may be blocked, .int can work as a backup domain.

Q: Is it urgent to switch to this domain (mail, sites)?
A: So far we are running a test operation. Just in case, you may notify your correspondents that you may also send messages to @jinr.int in case of problems with @jinr.ru email addresses.
